SMS Opt-In Process

Ichor Technologies · Last Updated: September 3, 2026

This page describes exactly how Ichor obtains consent before sending SMS text messages to prospects and customers. We use SMS only for sales follow-ups, appointment scheduling and confirmations, and account-related updates.

How You Opt In

1. Verbal Consent During a Call or Meeting

During a phone call or meeting, an Ichor representative asks for your permission before any text message is sent, using the following script:

"May I send you a text message to follow up and to confirm our meeting?"

Only if you say yes do we record your phone number and your verbal consent on your individual contact record in our CRM. No messages are sent without this recorded, per-customer consent.

2. Text START to Opt In

You may also opt in directly by texting START to +1 754-342-5720. You will receive a one-time confirmation message that you are opted in.

3. Website Form

When you provide your phone number through a form on our website (such as our contact form) and check the box agreeing to receive text messages, you consent to receive texts related to your inquiry. The checkbox is optional and unchecked by default — providing your phone number without checking it does not opt you in.

Our Commitments

  • Per-customer consent: Consent is obtained and recorded individually for each person, alongside their phone number, on their contact record in our CRM.
  • No purchased lists: We never purchase, rent, or share phone number lists. We only text people who have personally given us their number and consent.
  • Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us.
  • Fees: Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier plan.
  • Opt-out: Reply STOP at any time to cancel. You'll receive a one-time confirmation, after which no further messages will be sent.
  • Help: Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at support@goichor.io.
